I am a descendant of Major-General George Dean-Pitt, KH, natural son of George (Pitt), 2nd Baron Rivers of Strathfieldsaye and Sudeley Castle, who was a descendant of William Parker, Lord Morley and Monteagle, and, indeed, a co-heir of his through his daughter Catherine. I am interested in contacting other descendants of Lord Morley and Monteagle. My pedigree is on registry at the College-of-Arms.

I am a descendant of Susannah DEAN or RIVERS, daughter of George (PITT), 2nd Lord RIVERS, of Strathfieldsaye, and Miss DEAN. I have only recently learned of Susannah's parentage. Susannah is at least a half sister of Maj.General George DEAN-PITT - probably a 'full' sibling. Can you give me any information on the above, enough that I may do a bit more useful research - ie. sources etc. Would be very pleased to get any information. Garth. quote:
